INTJ’S are intelligent, analytical and curious problem solvers full of innovative ideas. You have a love for systems, efficiency, and optimization. You love being productive and love making discoveries.

Singapore
INFJ – THE COUNSELOR
Personality Type
You’re creative, an idealist and a master at coming up with original solutions. You’re passionate and enthusiastic about your ideas, and this can be a problem. If left to your own devices, you will turn a vacation into a project. You always need to have a cause and you are quite a perfectionist about it. You struggle to take time off and this can give you a burnout.
Trip Recommendation
Give yourself a break. Getaway and disconnect. You’ll probably get antsy just lying on a beach. So I recommend somewhere you can spend the day exploring and thinking, and not feel pressured to party till 2 am. Skip the hostels and treat yourself to a solo trip.
Think of the Canadian Rockies or hiking in Machu Pichu, Peru. Somewhere you can disconnect and just be yourself. You may even want to consider doing a homestay in a place like Sri Lanka, with its warm open people. Spending time with a small group as opposed to a large group.
This will help you satisfy your need for an authentic connection with its own unique story, but at the same time, it’ll help you give up control and let someone else guide the experience without it being an overwhelming party-filled organized tour.
The Canadian Rockies
ISTJ – THE INSPECTOR
Personality Type
You’re practical, patient and responsible. You like order, systems, traditions, and you have high standards for yourself and others.

I highly recommend a Euro-trip. A solo trip where you can learn a lot and feel comfortable doing it on your own, instead of navigating a new language or vastly different customs.
Think Greece, Rome, or even Japan. You will love Japan with its cleanliness and orderliness. There’s also a lot to discover, and the people are courteous.
Santorini, Greece

You can travel and live somewhere long-term while finding new and creative ways to make income online. This helps you to live differently away from the typical standard way of doing things.
I say travel to where you’re surrounded by others finding innovative ways to travel long-term and earn income in non-traditional ways. Think of Chiang Mai Thailand, Medellin Colombia, or Bansko Bulgaria.

Somewhere very cultural and with a friendly reputation like Ireland and Scotland, where you can perform activities like house sitting. Canada, in the beautiful Rockies or the friendly west coast.
You can even go for somewhere more exotic like Costa Rica which has a reputation for having some of the friendliest people in the world.
These places will make you feel needed and appreciated like you’re contributing to something bigger than yourself, while still taking in the beauty around you.
Costa Rica

You probably love to travel and explore, and you’ll do well in pretty much anywhere because you’re so adaptable. You are also very artistic, an out of the box thinker, and quite good in surprising those around you because you’re spontaneous.

As you’re a true wanderer at heart and love to explore new locations, especially ones that are more “off-the-beaten-path”, I recommend you do the iconic motorbike North to South or South to North trip in Vietnam.
This way you don’t have to plan too much. You can just go with the flow, going from destination to destination, and staying as long as you like in places you w

ENTJ – THE COMMANDER

I always wanted to be you! You are the CEO, you come up with great ideas, and you execute on them. You can also get other people to enthusiastically execute on your ideas. You’re a strategic leader, and you’ll find ways to make things happen, or you’ll create your way.
Strong-willed, bold, really smart. You know how to get things done.
Personal growth is your jam, and you love to push your boundaries while challenging yourself and those around you.
Trip Recommendation
I recommend hiking Mountain Everest or Mountain Kilimanjaro with a small group. Sign up with a company like G-adventures or join a local tour company when you arrive.
You’ll get a kick out of sharing the experience with others, pushing yourself and also pushing and encouraging those in the group with you.
Mount Kilimanjaro
ENFJ – THE TEACHER
Personality Type
Like the ENTJ, you’re determined and you know how to make things happen. You’re charismatic, persuasive, and probably the next to be on a TED talk stage.
You’re kind, friendly, warm, emotional connection valued. Ambitious and passionate, and it’s usually about improving the world around you. You’re probably taking on way too much on your plate, but you’re also energetic about all of it.
You’re not self-serving, and you have a knack for making the people around you better. You love to learn and help those around you.
Seeing as you have a knack for planning a well-organized and fast-paced trip, you crave having a good story to tell. You’re an excellent storyteller.
Trip Recommendation
Go to a specific destination that is known for something, like Acosta in Costa Rica, where you can spend 3 weeks learning to surf. This will give you the opportunity and satisfaction of helping those around you learn as well.
Also, there’s Cabarete in the Dominican Republic where you can kitesurf, Ubud in Bali where you can get your Yoga certification, Koh tao in Thailand where you can learn PADI scuba diving, Colorado where you can learn Snowboarding, and Nicaragua where you can learn Spanish.
Think of something you’ve always wanted to do or learn, then go to a specific place and do that thing!
Ubud, Bali
Koh Tao, Thailand
ESTJ – THE SUPERVISOR
Personality Type
You are the take-charge kind of person who loves organizing people and things. You get things done systematically and logically. You’re very traditional, hardworking, factual and grounded in reality.
You’re good at setting and achieving goals for yourself and others. You bring people together.
As a practical, straight-forward, honest and task-focused individual, you are a natural-born leader who loves planning. The problem is that you might get so focused on doing this that you end up not enjoying the vacation. This is why I’m going to suggest you don’t plan the vacation.
Trip Recommendation
Book a tour, but go to a place where you know very little about. I recommend Bhutan because not many people know about it.
To travel there, you’ll need to work with a Bhutanese travel agent. You’ll need to pay $200 – $250 a day which covers your visa, entrance, food, guide, and accommodation while you’re in the country.
You’ll work out an agreed-upon itinerary with the agent before you arrive, but once you’re in Bhutan, you don’t have to worry about how to get from place to place or what to do next. You still have a say on what you want to do, but the agent handles all of the logistics, while you sit back and enjoy the scenery.
I also recommend Japan. Tradition and modern high-tech all in one. You can join a small group tour, but not a bus tour that mindlessly takes you from place to place. Maybe intrepid travels, so you can enjoy the ride, learn and not focus on taking control.
Anywhere that fascinates you, but which you know very little about is a good fit. This way, you don’t sit around frustrated because you’re thinking about how you could have organized the trip better.
Bhutan Temple
ESTP – THE DYNAMO
Personality Type
You’re smart and energetic, and always coming up with practical solutions while adapting to any situation. You’re the life of the party and you’re good at reading people. This helps you to adapt to the situation and keep everyone entertained. You’re a thrill-seeker at heart, probably athletically inclined and always up for an adventure.
Trip Recommendation
I recommend a classic backpacking trip around South-east Asia. You can start with Thailand.
South-east Asia has flexible and adaptable travels. It’s easy to get around even with last-second bookings. There are plenty of outdoor adventures, crazy foods to try, people to meet, and an amazing nightlife. You can do anything you feel like as you feel like it. You can see so much in a little amount of time.
Bangkok, Thailand
ENFP – THE CHAMPION
Personality Type
You’re creative, passionate, enthusiastic, and you see a million possibilities in simple situations. You’re a free spirit, energetic, charming, and fiercely independent, but you get bored easily with the little everyday things. This is because you’re looking for real, authentic experiences that you can enjoy with others.
Trip Recommendation
I recommend going on a Gorilla trek in Uganda. You can do this with a small group led by a local guide.
You get to spend time in the jungle around the Gorillas. It’s a life-changing experience that you’ll love telling the story later.
Fort Portal, Uganda
ESFJ – THE PROVIDER
Personality Type
You’re popular and always eager to help. You are the best of friends, and extraordinarily caring. Your friends and family know they can count on you because you’re very loyal and responsible. You stick to your guns, and you know right from wrong.
Trip Recommendation
I have two options for you:
A mission trip helping a cause you care deeply about is an obvious choice. You can help in activities like building schools in places such as Nicaragua.
Alternatively, you can take a trip to look after yourself. You are always taking care of others, you need to remember to look after yourself too. A Wellness retreat such as a Spa vacation in Iceland, or a Yoga Retreat in Bali, is a great choice.
Managua, Nicaragua
Iceland
ESFP – THE PERFORMER
Personality Type
You’re spontaneous, energetic, crazy fun to be around and you find enjoyment in all the things around you (food, nature, and people). Get in the action, and if someone is around you, they’re probably having a good time because people love being around you.
You can read people, encourage them, and create fun even in typically boring situations, like initiating a game of werewolf on a long boring car ride. You’re also emotionally supportive, easy to talk to and great at coming up with practical solutions.
Trip Recommendation
You need a trip that’ll satisfy your curiosity and enjoyment of being around others without involving too much routine activity. Consider going on a cruise or tour. This way you’re always among people. It doesn’t really matter where you go because you’ll make it fun.
If a cruise seems too closed in for you, and you’re looking for more adventure, you can consider a fast-paced destination with some nightlife, food, and culture. I highly recommend you do it with either a group tour or with a group of friends.
Consider Spain, Brazil, or Portugal, or somewhere like London where you have a lot to see and experience, and New York City with its lively nightlife scene.
Sao Paulo, Brazil
ENTP – THE VISIONARY
Personality Type
You’re a smart and curious thinker. Unconventional, full of ideas, very open-minded and always up for a good debate, even if it’s just for the sake of debating. You can be spontaneous.
Trip Recommendation
While you’re capable of keeping everyone entertained with your love for a good debate and a game of “would you rather”, you might get impatient with long car rides.
I recommend taking a road trip with friends in a destination where you can see and do a lot without having to cover too much distance. You can follow (roughly follow) a road trip itinerary where you can see a lot in a little bit of time.
Places like New Zealand’s north island, or if you are up for more of an adventure, I have a whole video on renting a tuk-tuk and self-driving around the small country of Sri Lanka. It was an amazing trip for me, and it’ll be for you too.
Traveling with a friend who can help put the ideas into action may help you from getting overwhelmed by possibilities.
Sri Lanka
I’m an INFJ, The counselor, and my favorite trip to date was gorilla trekking with an organized small group on a research project in Uganda.
